The Washington Mystics fell to the Minnesota Lynx 94–84 Friday night at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.
Despite the loss, Washington continued to make its presence felt on the glass. The Mystics out-rebounded Minnesota 36–26, marking the 33rd time this season Washington has won the rebounding battle and tying the WNBA single-season record.
The Mystics also finished with 21 assists, recording their 17th game this season with at least 20 assists.
Kiki Iriafen led Washington with 19 points, while Shakira Austin added 17. Minnesota was led by Olivia Miles with a game-high 24 points, while Natasha Howard added 21.
The loss moves Washington forward into the final stretch of the regular season as the Mystics continue their push toward the postseason.
