Washington, D.C. will once again take center stage in women’s professional soccer. The National Women’s Soccer League announced that the 2026 NWSL Championship, presented by Google Pixel, will be played at Audi Field on Saturday, November 21.
The championship match is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET and will air in primetime on the CBS Television Network, with streaming available on Paramount+. Audi Field, home of the Washington Spirit and D.C. United, has become one of the country’s leading destinations for women’s soccer and provides an established home for the league’s marquee event.
The announcement brings the NWSL Championship back to the East Coast for the first time since 2022, when Audi Field also hosted the title match. Since then, the Washington Spirit’s fan base has continued to grow, with strong attendance and an increasingly visible presence throughout the District, Maryland and Virginia.
For the Spirit and their supporters, hosting the championship is another recognition of Washington’s commitment to women’s sports. The city has consistently supported the club, and Audi Field has developed a reputation for producing one of the NWSL’s most energetic matchday environments.
